Health psychology and citizen-centred AI: Reflections from an interdisciplinary PhD researcher
Attending the British Psychological Society Division of Health Psychology Annual Conference provided an opportunity to present my MSc research and introduce my PhD project on citizen-centred AI in FemTech. Using my PhD topic as a case study, this reflection explores conflicting attitudes toward AI in Health Psychology and suggests an interdisciplinary, citizen-centric approach that balances innovation with accountability, inclusivity, and lived experience.
